Big question---what new firmware?---there is none for either the f5s or the V5s.

there is a firmware update available to update your skybox f5s to a v8s openbox so u can upgrade tp.prog direct on the box rather than using usb stick

Vous ne pouvez pas utiliser F5 pour iptv.

Hi all.

I have the f5s and it states running of 2014 firmware, is this the current one as it wont let me do epg download as it says not enough space to decompress... read the forum, and its frying the brain, need simple instructions if anyone has them written down anywhere. tried a list for firmware, but keeps saying file mismatch. cheers in advance

Go to Downloads and locate and download file No76 and add to fat32 formatted usb key. [Ensure you have a copy of your line/gift]
This firmware can be used on both the V5s and F5s.
Install into your box as usual and reboot---remove key during reboot.
Once installed--go menu--network settings--network upgrade---click on connect---choose your file for v5s and install---when finished box will reboot.
Now repeat previous and download latest channel list--box will reboot
Check your encrypted channels in case line not working--you may have to restart line or re-enter your line.
Now no more need for usb key in future.
