Fire stick max no connection on url

I am kinda stuck got new stick mack all right stuff developer is on as it should but i have a connection but on downloader on a url keeps coming up no connection, i have never seen that before on a neww stick , what is the fix please i am stumped. ta
 
sorry was doing 2 things at once .i have fire stick max new out box , did all usual things debug developer , they are on .. but when i try to put downloader with a url , it is coming up no connection,... hope that is clearer. no sure how i fix this.
 
yes i a have tried install unstall clear cashe clear data, same thing, i am going try dif url. see if that helps. thanks

You have set developer options and debug etc and you have installed downloader.
If it is not allowing you to download your providers player/app then it looks like your isp nanny settings are switched on, you have to disable them.

yes i have , i am ok on the tecko stuff, as i said when came up no connection i thought was my end, his very old app downloaded , his new one would'nt let me download, thats when its above my head..lol
 
that is a no bad idea , just to try on my phone, i have crap data i use more with wifi and texts, but good idea to try ..ta
 
You've definitely tried the amazon silk browser and can load webpages like this site or google etc?

Also, on another device, go to https://aftv.news/xxxxxx and replace the x's with the downloader short code, does that re-direct you to the right file?
 
I'm confused here, is it you can't download the app or the app is downloaded but doesn't connect?
 
The downloader works, but when i put in his new url , it says will not connect, but his old url worked, when it come up no connection, as i have said 3 -4 times, it kinda thought it was my end the fault, that was why i asked on here. if that helps
 
Have you tried with a VPN on? I've had it where the URL of the file is blocked by the ISP, it would work with a VPN.
 
Hi never thought that, as baz said have you tried it on mobile, same thing new url would not download old url one works, i had vpn on my mobile when i tried his new url still would not download...
 
Its a simple thing he is most likely using a url shortener like bitly and the old one is no longer valid it happens.
