who is checking area issues?
Nothing untoward in my area it was the first thing i checked etc and then noticed a few other members were complaining about signal loss and glitching etc ::

I had freezing issues with snr level in the mid to high 90's, my signal did not drop even when freezing. I think the signal level is a bit of a red herring.
Same, My SNR always stays at 90%, AGC has always been 28% ( I think Low, but has always been fine).I had freezing issues with snr level in the mid to high 90's, my signal did not drop even when freezing. I think the signal level is a bit of a red herring.
personally I think it's something that virgin have done which has caused an issue for servers, be it messing the cache, or not working with particular server side software or something else.Same, My SNR always stays at 90%, AGC has always been 28% ( I think Low, but has always been fine).
I think it's either provider problem, or Virgin have done something. Some people are saying changing provider has stopped the problem, hence surely its a provider issue.
My daughter lives 1/2 mile from me , she's got same box so we swapped for the day, no change both boxes freezing from same provider.
That's because you're using the same provider, change lines and it will all become clear
my line is gone, nothing working. That's because you're using the same provider, change lines and it will all become clear

totally agree, its a cache issue. Is it not obviously a Cache server problem? As soon as they are fucked all servers on that are heavily subscribed will experience Freezing.
I don't think he is totally wrong, I think vm have done something that makes it hard for cache servers to work smoothlyI believe it's a provider issue but he is blaming virgin media, time to move on soon for me.
