What make usb?
Try it in the front usb port near the standby button

Sony and it has never let me down. Did try others. Usb does not fit the front slot

Probably better getting a SanDisk before giving up on the box.
Do you have a different enigma2 box you could initialise the usb on?

works fine on VU+2 .. i shall see if i can use a different usb. thx for all your help and suggestions guys
