help needed dreambox dm800hd pro pvr how to set up

hello there everybody ive not been on for a while
im needing some help with my dm800hd pvr
ive had it nearly a year now but never got round to using it
i tried setting it up yesterday but had no luck with it
can someone pls point me in the right direction to get it up and running
ie what firmware to use where to input my c line or n line
how to get cccam.cfg info onto it
i currently use the blade media combo box never had a problem with it
its a differant box altogether
but i think its time i used this other box upstairs
any help on this would be great
 
to flash it plug the box in keep the standby button presst in and you will get ip address on lcd put ip in internet explorer and you will get firmware upgrade page download image to your desktop and flash it to your dm800 job done / to put your cline in download dreambox control centre for e2 and open dcc clik FTP and put your cline in etc folder / here is dreambox uk image

it keeps saying INVALID IMAGE (OR OLD VERSION) after i hit the flash button
i must be doing something wrong i think
im not very clever with this box any idea what that might be
 
you useing the image that i posted what sim do you have boot the box and see whats on lcd

sorry m8 but its still the same just doesnt want to load any firmware it just freezes on the uploading page after i hit the flash button
 
think i found the problem but dont no how to set it up
here i done a network test
lan adaptor - integrated ethernet green tick
local network connected green tick
dhcp enabled green tick
ip address unconfirmed red cross
nameserver unconfirmed red cross
could this be my problem
and how do i sort that out cheers
 
wired straight to the router
still getting invalid or old image
i managed to flash it with a differant image but now its not connecting to dcc
invalid login
 
ive put the dreambox ip in but
Telnet Connected
FTP Connected
Telnet Disconnected
Telnet login incorrect!
any ideas on that cheers

First thing to do is select your Language.and enter your Dreambox password

Now we need to select your Network configuration, most of you will have a router so this need to be selected.

At this point if you know your Dreambox and Router IP's enter them manually if not press the search button below the router and then the search button on the popup

When DCC has finished searching your router will normally be the lowest ip in a range so highlight it and press accept.

You can now repeat this to find the Dreambox IP or use the following method.

Menu-Setup-Expert Setup-Communication Setup.

You'll see your IP at the top of the page make a note of this and enter this IP in DCC under the Dreambox ICON.

Also untick the DHCP box so your Dreambox IP will never change and remain static.

7. After you have inserted the IP's click the reconnect button under the PC icon. If you have done this correctly all lines to the router and dreambox should now be green
