in desperate need of help :D

1st set of usb's arrived today (verbatim brand) 16gb & 64gb these i ordered before you suggested the other usb (which i also ordered and am waiting for)

tried again with the folder name changed and not changed and still nothing :(

1st try with the folder named xpeedlx - 1st try said boot on box and the splash screen was on tv - 2nd try no boot on box and splash screen on tv

tried with the folder name changed - again same as above

could it be a faulty box do you think ? are these boxes not preloaded with anything at all so i can at least boot the bloody thing into settings or something, i mean i no there cheap but my fs5 was cheaper and it ain't caused me no trouble lol

is there an older bootrom that can be tried ?

this box i have had since july so not even sure what's loaded on it

You are just putting the unzipped folder on arent u? So only thing on usb is xpeedlx or cloudix folder from 29/5/14 bootloader?
 
yea, i dug out an old old usb stick and geuss what...... i got it working :grin: thank you sooooooooo much can i be a pain and ask how i put on cccam & add my line, anything i should be looking for or adding etc i got this one more for the iptv having a quick look it looks a lot like having xmbc
 
i have two i am sure one is cline and nline

Ok u have them in CCam.cfg or newcamd.list?

Whith ftp program on pc look up box folder /usr/keys.

In there is a newcamd.list file.
Copy ur line details and paste into newcamd.list.
depending which backup u used there will be a section near end like ****** ****** **** ***** 01 02 03 04 05.
Just enter ur details in there, save and reboot
 
i have the CCcam.cfg (currently using cccam) i removed the megacamd i can install it again do, the thing is i just don't no how to edit the newcamd.list i have two lines

i mean looking at it

CWS_KEEPALIVE = 300


CWS_INCOMING_PORT = 21000


CWS = 192.168.1.1 20000 dummy dummy 10 02 13 04 15 06 17 08 01 10 11 12 13 14 lan server1


CWS_MULTIPLE = 192.168.1.2 20000:20005 dummy dummy 10 02 13 04 15 06 17 08 01 10 11 12 13 14 lan server2

i added my line 1 after CWS = i then added my second line after CWS_MULTIPLE and removed the third CWS= but that didn't work i gave up lol
 
if you are putting the line into a cccam.cfg config file it will have to start with N: not CWS so it would look like this N: 192.1681.1 20000 dummy dummy 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
 
Hi mate yea the ccccam.cfg is working fine no buffer lags etc but i was told megacamd is better i am just not sure how to edit the lists file to add my two lines rather then one
 
cheers mate was using that guide the bits i am confused on is

1) how do i as i have two lines enter those when editing the list

also when editing the list is the final part removed or left in i was doing it by deleting anything below the CWS= and just doing that twice one for each line - CWS = cardshare8.ddns.net 2200 password password 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 server 1
