Gardaí
Appeal for witnesses to come forward
Tue 20th July
Gardaí are treating as suspicious the discovery of a body in Newbridge, Co Kildare, yesterday morning.
The body of the 21-year-old man was found in a house at Moorefield Park.
A post mortem established that he died from a stab wound.
The man is originally from Poland and had been living in Newbridge with his family for the past few years.
Gardaí said today that as a result of the post mortem his death is now being treated as suspicious.
They are interviewing witnesses and carrying out house-to-house inquiries in the area and are appealing for anyone who saw anything suspicious in the Moorefield Park estate between midnight and 5am last yesterday morning to contact them.
