Iptv app help with Sony tv

Hello tk guys and gals it’s been a long time since I posted/joined this site so please forgive me if these are silly or easily answered questions

I have a Sony kdl 50 w815b tv and cannot find/get the iptv app is even possible to get the app on this tv ? If so can someone please explain

I think you have limited options and might need a firestick or similar. Someone with a similar TV may advise otherwise..................

Thanks, was hoping someone with similar tv would know, it could be Android I am not sure how do I check ?

There are only a limited amount of apps I can choose from

Does the TV menu have an app store? Google Play Store or similar?

If so, search for apps like 'Smart IPTV' 'Smart STB'
