menu locked on remote? need 4 digit passcode

I'm trying to manually scan for the boxing.
My remote is asking for a 4 digit code
I've no idea what it is.
Any ideas guys

I don't remember ever putting one in?

unless you have put your own code in they are usually 0000 or 1234

Back the GIFT UP and do factory reset, then it should be 0000

I'm positive I've never entered one.
I need to scan for updates etc as a load of my channels don't work, I.e sky sports news and some channels are wrong.
Is there a hard reset?
But don't wanna lose too much.

What does back the gift up mean and how do I do that please?

Unable to do a factory reset as it asks for the pin number.
Really struggling guys, lost loads of channels.
Any help?

Have you loaded bees' firmware by any chance? I did originally and had to use his pin to use teh box. PM him to ask what it is. Worth a try

It was 5511, that was for a channel list not firmware when blade online was down ages ago
so I don't think it will be that.

Reflash the box with official firmware from their site, then flash the latest firmware from here then put your line back in.

it should be reset to 0000 again then.

one of the reasons why not to password the box as when forgotten a reflash is needed and new line if not saved,is there a password thread on site asking for pin codes to be added and did they??

I put a perental lock on the menus
so the kids can't see anything more than they should.
You can't hide youporn / redtube in the menus
