I have just recently bought a 500s box and came across bobby123 excellent tutorial, I flashed the darkstar2 image at the first attempt, but I repeatedly got an error message about my network I could not get onto addons to download anything. I then googled an image for 500s and saw openpli maxvar i then went onto their website and flashed the image and there are tutorials on how to download addons and there were no problems with the network . now after 2 weeks of reading on how to flash and ftp using dcc, I now have my box up and running with fta channels.
