Nintendo DSI playing back up games.

My son has a the normal Nintendo DS with the R4 card and 30 games on it and I have bought him the new DSI, the R4 with the games on do not work in the DSI so I presume it either needs a firmware upgrade adding to the card or maybe a new type card?.

Can one of you guys tell me what is needed please.

Is yr ds card a dsi card had this prob i didnt realise they are 2 diff cards for for ds and dsi

u need the r4 gold cards for the dsi and xl

R4 gold card for DSi as said above and make sure its V1.4.1, (I think this version is standard on the gold card but just check H ;) )

My friends daughter had an R4 card for her DSi and wanted to go on the internet with it,

when she went on it updated the system and card would'nt work anymore hence the V1.4.1, so had to get new card ;)

HiTeck probably to late now but the Acekard 2i,hands down the best on the market

you will need to get a new card you will need the r4 1.4 at least i would go for the r4 gold 1.4 you can get them from priceangel.com for around £5 then you need the new firmware hope this helps

I'm currently using the R4i SDHC, with frimware from deleted. Its cheap and works pretty good from price angels.
