playing burnt games on xbox 360

is there any way to play burnt discs without moding your xbox?

Simple answer - No, because my modifying the firmware on the DVD drive allows running of 'backups' because it removes the 'copy protection' checks.

If your going down this road you should look into getting the xkey. You still need the drive key but less hassle of disc burning as all games are stored on the hard drive and no need for an Ihas drive.at the moment its the best option.
