quick question

A friend has sky and has previously had multi room with them so has 2 spare coax cables in his bedroom, if he buys a sat box and line can he just use the 2 spare coax and also keep his sky subscription until he is confident enough or will sky be able to tell in any way that he has a sat box on the cables coming from the same dish? how do the paid channels work?

I'm running the zGemma in the front room, and have a paid sub to Sky in the bedroom (All be it Sky has been cancelled) works fine for me... No knocks on the door just yet :)

You can run it no problem i would turn sky shield off as it tends to block IPTV streaming

They're freesat boxes anyway (lol) so Sky would be able to do **** all even if they could magically find out what coax cables (they can't by the way) from the dish were hooked up to.
