RIP - Frank Worthington

Another great player and entertainer has sadly left us today, some of his goals were fantastic, rip Frank.

Signing for Liverpool in 1972 but the deal was called off after he failed a medical, high blood pressure the reason.

Great player, I remember his goal for Bolton against Ipswich, when he had his back to goal with 4 defenders behind him, he flicked the ball up over his and the defenders head,(Terry Buthcher), I think it was, then volleyed it into the net, great goal that the big match used to open their show every Sunday afternoon.
