Sky Freeview

Hi, i've just found out that i can pay a one off fee of £25 for a viewing card and and then £10 per month for the ability to record.

My wife watches mostly tv in the bedroom and i have a single sat feed in there. I have a twin feed downstairs. So what is the best way of watching the recordings in the bedroom?

Get another feed put into bedroom mate as a single feed you have to watch what you record that would be easiest option I can think of or it would be recording on box downstairs and taking it upstairs to view recordings I should imagine

Why not get an enigma 2 box as can do all the freeview via that and record

Ok, just to clarify..............if i buy a Sky Plus + HD Box, DRX890 500gb , viewing card & sly free view subscription, i can then download Sky go app and access my recordings?

I agree with @moshibeth
The enigma2 route is a much better option if you only want freesat or freeview.
Both boxes can record to the same location and watch the same content without having to pay any monthly fee.

Pickup a 500 GB hard drive off the bay and a twin tuner sat box so can record and watch another channel or record 2 channels at a time

Can that be done how would you do that

Just plug it in and format it. If it won't fit inside your receiver you can put them in external enclosure and connect via USB. I've had quite a few. The 2tb drives are a nice find too

Buy the time you buy the box that allows an internal hard drive just pick one up off the bay for less money £18 for a 500 GB

Try freecycle, I must've had at least 20 receivers from there. Hence the 2tb are a nice find....
