I haven't used premium spotify myself,however premium has a better sound quality I think it's 320kbps as opposed to 192 kpbs,which makes a big difference when listening onto a decent system,also their are no Ads on the premium,I am thinking of getting it myself as my onkyo hifi has a dedicated app for spotify premium.
