Starting from the absolute beginning!

Hi Guys and gals.

I am a non technical person who likes to tinker and bite off almost more than I can chew.
Latest being a water-cooled I7 Hackintosh in a modified G5 case - all form scratch.

I think I want to spend some time going down the satellite route.
Unfortunately I am struggling with the basics and don't know where to start.

Can anyone who has endured my start give me a bit of a leg up?

I would be grateful for some help, I thought I will give the Satellite a go, I currently have a Technomate T500 box but how do I get it to receive channels?
 
Anyone aware of if there are any nines that have Aljazeera sports/Bein Sports as part of subs? Understand that I will need a motorised setup.

the only way you will now get bein sports in the uk is by iptv or a very big dish and a Sub with bein
 
The beIN Sports Viewing Card is now Paired to th HD Receiver so i dont think it is now availible on cs but i have seen it on itvp
