SV7 Recording problems

Hi Guys, I use sv7 with latest firmware and all is fine, well nearly all. How do you get this box to record the selected channel/program. I go to EPG select my desired program and press the rec button(the red dot appears), the box is left switched on and remains on the channel to be recorded, the box starts to record at the set time but always switches itself to Dave and records whatever is on the Dave channel, not the program it was set to record. ??????has anyone had this same problem and is there a fix.?????

Try reinstalling the firmware, then re scan, then try again.

Or

Delete the channel "dave" and try recording.

i go in menu
utility
time record
then edit information on time channel start and end times finds
this work for me hope it helps

I'm having problems recording no matter what method i use it only records for about 10 seconds and stops. I'm using a 16gb usb drive.
