Whats gone wrong with the Yanks, they've got in Biden a doddering old cnut who does'nt know what day it is and the opposition, in Trump. a complete and utter fckuing LOONEY, and these the most powerful (just) country in the world. We are all definately in the sh*t. They must have some smart younger politicians, surely (Don't call me Shirley)

They've been like this for years, Reagan was the same, he was 109 before he was elected president, he needed someone to tell him when to go for a crap, they're just puppets, they don't make any decisions, they're like the king or queen, they get told what to say by the people who make all the decisions.

Spot on ,

Spot on I remember that muppet Reagan calling Charlies wife " Princess David" what a clunt he was

The Uniparty model is the dominant model. The "opposing" sides present as alternatives but they are simply different wings of the same party.

People don't seem to vote on policies anymore. It's like people are "fans" of leaders. The likes of Boris Johnson and Nigel Farage are complete privileged clowns. But somehow, people from traditional working class areas back them and think they are men of the people.

To the original point. I feel the same about US Presidents. My parents are younger than Trump and Biden and they are showing their age and make bad decisions at times. Is that really what people want as a President?

Would you trust the younger generation to be allowed to rule the counties? You only have to see what the younger generation has done to the schools etc. We have kids going to schools wearing tails and purring in class and taking a dump in gravel boxes :ROFLMAO:

Opposed to the government which is cutting school funding, hiked University fees and refused to give teachers and other staff fair pay

I think a lot of people backed by the unions are looking for unfair and inflated pay rises. Who looks for a 35% pay rise. I back the current government for standing firm. I know things seem bad at the moment and I believe labour will get into power very shortly. We will no doubt all feel better when labour start spending. Oh and then we will run out of money like last time.

Typical union behaviour, they want 30+% pay rises because of inflation, but ask them if they are prepared to take a 25% cut once inflation is under control and see what they say.

The reason they are looking for such a significant pay rise is because of the significant rise in the cost of living, caused by the government
Specialised jobs such as nurses and teaching shouldn't be getting close to minimum wage they should be on at least double it in my opinion, or there will be no willingness for the future generations to get into those type of jobs.

The cost of living only gets higher if they keep demanding higher wages.
To pay doctors and teachers 20% more means everyone's taxes have to go up.
To cover these extra expenses, everyone who produces anything has to increase their prices, so now they're moaning about a loaf being £1.50 and a chicken is a fiver, once the pay rises start snowballing, a loaf is fifteen quid and you need a mortgage to buy a chicken so their pay rises are worthless

The cost of living has constantly increased over time and if their wages went in line with inflation we wouldn't be in a position where they have to ask for fairer wages.
It's okay for mps to give themselves wage increases and use tax payers money for expenses which aren't needed to do their job. But a teacher asks for £2 an hour extra and everyone blames them for being greedy. World has gone mad

If teachers get £2 ph increase, what about binmen?
Train drivers?
Bus drivers?
Everyone in the country?
Train fares go up, bus fares go up, sandwiches go up, coffee goes up, pretty soon that £2 is useless.
They do it every time there's a blip in the economy....I'd be happy to give them £2 per hour providing they sign a form saying they'll take a £2 cut once inflation returns to normal

The government could fund decent pay rises for Doctors, nurses, fire fighters and teachers using the money they'd earmarked to fund tax cuts for the rich but due to public outcry did one of their trademark u-turns. Funny how that wouldn't have ruined the economy but paying it to anyone other than their fat cat friends would do.

Everything you've mentioned have all went up and they will not go down when inflation goes down. A normal shop at tesco has went through the roof and if prices go down along with inflation they won't drop their prices, they will just keep their record profits
How can mps get £85k a year and justify giving themselves a rise but can't justify giving those who keep the country running an increase. Suppose we could all go out on a Thursday night and clap again and make them feel appreciated again

If inflation is under control then that would be no pay increase (if you are pegging wages in line with inflation).

Shopping will go down again.
Anyone wasting money at Tesco deserves to get robbed, the German discounters dictate the prices that the others have to try and match but often they don't even try and just use complex schemes and club prices to trick idiots into thinking they're getting something when in fact the only thing they're getting is fleeced.
Eg: 5kg King Edward spuds at Aldi £2
5kg King Edward spuds at Tesco £3 but if you have a club card, they're £2.50

At least people have a choice, pay a quid more or pay 50p more.
It's the same with everything they sell, and it's not just Tesco

Inflation has come down from 11% to just over 4%, its not going up.
Why are people asking for astronomical rises when things are going in the right direction?

General Election imminent, watch out for the "Big Bribe" tomorrow from that multi-millionaire cnut Jeremy Hunt and all the muppets that will fall for it, tax cuts, minimum wage increase and who knows what else to bribe the masses. He should be concentrating on cutting Ofgem's balls off and getting them to reduce energy prices and putting a stop to Supermarket profiteering, then people would'nt be asking for wage increases so often
