v8 box help

hi i am a newbie to openboxes, could any one help me please my mate at work has just give me a v8 box to fix (as line wasn't working) i have got a new line and input it and all works on some channels but the B7 sports doesn't could any one tell me if you have to change frequency manual or are they automatic as i am only used to zgemma boxes thank you

You should be able to update Channels via Network Once you connect go to TP prog ( England) and update

under firmware the is 3 updates are they for different openboxes

Have not done 1 for a while But they may be as they also Do F5s,V5s V7 V8 and now V9s

If you go to information setting on box it should say what firmware is on the box
