Virgin Media has launched a new discount promotion on its triple-play bundles.
From November 1st 2010, the company is offering six months of half-price bills on its broadband, cable TV and home phone packages.
As a further incentive, the internet service provider is not charging new customers for installation.
Under the terms of these packages, consumers can sign up for a bundle comprising all three of Virgin Media's communications services for just £9.50 per month for the first three months.
Broadband with up to 20Mb/s download speeds, which is normally priced at £20 per month, will be available for half this amount for the initial six months of the contract.
This move comes just days after Virgin Media announced that more than 12.7 million homes across the UK will be able to access its new 100Mb/s fibre optic broadband proposition.
The super-fast service, which offers almost 20 times the country's average speed, will go on sale at the start of December.
