which one to buy need some advise

Hi,

I'm having virgin broadband installed few weeks time and I need the superhub downstairs but I also want hardwired upstairs also what equipment do I need? I don't mind if 2nd router isn't wireless just hard wired is all I need except downstairs must be wireless any help would be great thanks for reading :)

I ran a CAT5 cable upstairs and connected it straight to another router, setup as an access point
That gives me plenty of LAN options + good WiFi upstairs

It should be fine, just check it's on the dd-wrt compatibility list

I have 3 old routers being used as access points around the house
All on the same SSID with the same password but on different channels, works superbly for WiFi anywhere
