Will Upgrading Firmware Stop The Stutter Glitching And Freezing ?

it is not a firmware problem or a problem with the box as i explained. the problem is you are not using a wired connection. the skybox dose not work on anything else in a stable manner
 
i am wired im connected via Ethernet as stated in my 1st post, im gonna try it over the weekend when the sport is on and fully sit and watch a couple of hours so im hoping it works fine on that day haha

You are not using a wireless dongle for your internet connection are you ?

I mean for your initial feed into the house, not between router and box as you have said it is an Ethernet cable.

Have you tried the box at a mates house ?

If it's the same there it may be a faulty box.

No mate its all wired, im gonna see how i get on over the weekend im hoping its fine, i havnt used the box for a couple of days as i still have a full sly package.
 
reading posts elsewhere the skybox is tat and 90% of sat problems are posted as skybox/openbox problems,i know its what people dont want to hear but buy cheap
and you may have problems and he mentioned originals and clones ouch!
if you do all that you can may point finger to a box problem and the chinese are not known for health and safety,remember the vu+duo clone,lucky no one got killed yet.thinking if you got a better box lines would work better?
 
hi, I have a skybox f5 wired by Ethernet and all the channels work great but when I go on box office its glitchin and freezing, same on you porn.
 
Well ive been Testing it out over the weekend, i watched the boxing for 8 hours or so and then i watched the F1 today and probably had 3-4 glitches which im more than happy with, dunno if im ever gonna get a glitch free one so ive gone with the line that i used over the weekend, seems to be the best line ive tried up till now. Hopefully that will keep me happy, I would love to buy a decent box but we dunno how long the good times will last so i dont wanna waste my money just yet.

Yea i notice that the PPV stuff is really unreliable.

I know this is an old thread but I'm having the same problems. I have an F5s bought from Ebay with a 12 month gift. I have massive lipsync problems and the screen stutters. I have a good internet connection so that is not the issue. I did try a 24hour pass from someone but that did not fix it and if anything it stuttered more.

Do you think i need to upgrade my firmware ?. Someone on the forum thought i may have a clone box so I;m worried i may brick it.
