The body of a woman has been found in the boot of a car in Co Dublin.
Gardaí Treating woman's death as suspicious
The discovery was made by gardaí investigating the disappearance of a 30-year-old woman who went missing almost seven weeks ago.
Helen Donegan was last seen near her home at St Patrick's Park in Celbridge in Co Kildare at around 8am on Thursday 6 May.
Gardaí carried out a number of searches today near Newcastle in Co Dublin and they discovered human remains in the boot of a car parked at a premises at 5pm this evening.
The area has now been sealed off for a forensic and technical examination.
A post mortem will be carried out tomorrow to confirm the person's identity and the cause of death, which will determine the course of the garda investigation.
Gardaí said they are treating the death as suspicious and have requested the services of the State Pathologist.
