XMLTV EPG ( how to set up and watch channels ? ) Help please

Hi
I found XMLTV EPG and updated Hungarian Channels and all downloaded good and said finished now, when I go to try and watch it all the channels are in red can some one tell me if I did something wrong please? Or what I need to do to watch Tv Channels I have downloaded in XMLTV EPG under Apps section in Networks please.

Sorry not to techky with this can you please explain to me ? What you mean ? I use to be with Sky they have disconnected me and i bought openbox V5S not sure if this helps lol :grin: but I have no idea what you mean lol :grin:
 
To receive channels from Hungary, your dish needs to be pointed at the satellite that that supplies Hungarian channels (not quite sure which satellite you require but I think the ones at 16 degrees east and 1 degree west might be what you are looking for). You would probably require a larger dish, depending on where you live. To pick up encrypted channels you would also need a line from an appropriate supplier (quite hard to find in UK as most suppliers only do S*y).
It is not just a case of scanning for epg and getting anything you want. There is no MAGIC involved, just basic engineering.
 
Thanks for the update dumbguy I taught because this is the app add on I figured all I would need to do is activate it and it will just start working lol but as I said I'm new to all this and still learning about it :) so is there a no way I can install app which let me watch tv channels from hungerian TV ? reason for this my partners mum is coming over to uk soon and she does not speak English and just wanted this for her so she can watch TV while she is here in her language :)

You could look at some off the TSmedia addons and see if any of them have Hungarian streams. Check the addon streams that haven't been activated by default. Some of them might have something.

2. Youporn
3. XMLTV EPG
4. Weather.

Can you tell me how can I install more applications liek games or other media player like you mentioned above ? please

My friend has a same box as me Openbox V5S and he has around 20 apps on his box any ideas how I can add other apps in the section Please ?

Ok thank you for your help at least I know now what I can and can't do :)

Regards to this channels you said I would needs bigger dish can you tell me what size dish I would need please? As I'm looking at few of them on amazon and not sure what one I would need to buy to get this channels in question.

As I pm'd you, it looks like they are actually on Astra 19 and Hotbird 13. So depending on where you live in UK (I'm assuming it is the UK), then you might even be able to get them by re-aligning your existing dish, or more likely, a 65cm should do.
