ZGEMMA STAR H1 is the right way to trun it off ?

when we go to bed we allway turn all the stuff off

1, stanby then 2,turn it off at the wall
or just turn it off at the wall

dos it matter how i turn it off ?

It doesn't really matter as long as nothing is being written to flash memory at the time.... however the EPG updates and channel lists are almost always set to update overnight so you won't get any programme information and as channels move frequencies you'll lose them if the box is powered off. Probably best just to put the box in standby each night.

If you want to turn off sswitch each night then use standy-deep standby, and wait until powers down, then remove plug. This way your EPG will stay on pen drive from when it last updated. But you will then not get a daily update as mtpockets said -and will have to update manually each 5-7 days

Just set automatic update for a time when your able to have the box on if you don't want the box plugged in at the wall all night. Only takes like 10mins of your time.
