Cable & Sat Line - TV Antenna question?

Hey guys, I’m trying to setup this TV so the antenna works. I have a cable and Sat line both active but tuning is not working. Basically I’m using the lines connected to the adaptor and plugging it into the Antenna port on the tv. I’ve tried both Sat and Cable with the adaptor and I can’t get it to work. Any help please!

TV model is -Samsung UE55K5100AK 5 Series

What’s an indoor aerial lol! This is the spec. Can’t I just use one of these cables! Life’s so unfair hahahahaha

I'm so used to IPTV/Zgemmas etc I've forgot how to tune a bloody tv! lol Right so basically I connect cable line to the adaptor and try tuning digital?

Hide All Specs
 
Your TV only has a DVB-T2 tuner according to above specs so you can't use sat or cable feeds. Even if your TV had a DVB-C tuner, they don't work on Virgin, I think they are more aimed at other countries.


EDIT: I missed the C at the end of tuner type so it does have combi terrestrial / cable tuner but as I mentioned above, in the UK tv's with cable tuners dont work on virgin

This is doing my feckin head in, in the last hour I have merged about 50 posts by a single user together.
