E2iStream

I’ve been using the older E2iPlayer plugin but most of the apps on it no longer work for streaming content etc.

I’ve downloaded the newer E2iStream plugin from Extensions (presume that’s the right one?) and it shows the E2iStream app in my plugins but when I go into it, it still won’t update and I’m still stuck with most of the apps on it not working.

I’m running Wooshbuild infinity on ATV 6.1 on a Zgemmah2s box if that helps.

I’d just like to get that plugin working again as I used to use it a lot for downloading progs and films etc to the box.

Thanks.

You need open atv 6.2 or 6.3 for it to run have you gone into configuration to set it to update what's the date on the plugin

Cheers. Looks like I may need to flash my box then as I’m currently on atv 6.1.

The plugin is set to auto update but if I manually try to update it, I just get a message saying there is no update for the current configuration.

The version it lists is 2018.11.16.02

That's from when it first got released your box is out dated use grog free range as that will flash and install his image then take it from there

Cheers fellas,

I always run Wooshbuild so I assume I can flash the box and then set back up with that and run the new E2iStream.

Yes it may install it for you but if not remove Ep2iplayer from plugins and enter this command line in
wget http://www.softrix.co.uk/istream/installer.sh -O - | /bin/sh

Thanks lads.

It was just the url which I had wrong. I’ve just sent the above url to the box and it’s worked a treat and E2iStream has now updated and the apps are all working etc. So no need to flash my box thankfully.

Cheers for the info from both of you. Much appreciated. (y)

Using Zgemma H.2S running OpenATV 6.3 with WooshBuild Infinity and SkyWB Skin. E2iPlayer and E2iPlayer are both in Plugin Downloads but when I tried to download E2iStream it downloaded E2iPlayer with E2iStream icon. Removed E2iStream and then installed with OpenWebif using the above code: wget http://www.softrix.co.uk/istream/installer.sh -O - | /bin/sh - it installed and works perfectly.

Hi guys.

My E2iStream hasn’t updated for a while. The version it is showing is 2019.09.22.01.

If I try running an update it just says that there is no update for the current configuration.

Have I got the latest update or so I have an issue?

Cheers.

the latest version of e2istream is 2020.01.03.01 as far as I am aware there have been no updates since then.

Use the above command line to update.

Hi, sorry but I have been using my H2S for a few years now but really have no idea how it works. Very happy with it when it does but when I have an issue I have to throw myself on the mercy of the forumites!

I am running an older version of Whooshbuild (it's working so I don't mess with it!!) and, up until recently, have been using E2iPlayer without too many issues. I don't know how I stumbled across E2iPlayer as before that I was running some other TV/Movie plug in (IPTV PLayer?). Anyway, E2iPlayer has recently stopped working (unable to find any links or unknown urls) and so I have come to this forum and stumbled across this thread. I'm assuming I have a similar issue to the OP.

I understand that a number of forumites on various websites do not like helping pig ignorant people like myself but i'm hoping that there will be enough people on here that can help using very non-techno language?

I'm assuming that I will have to download E2iStream as E2iPlayer is out of date? If so, is it available in the "Download Plugins" section (I can't seem to find it).

Secondly Graham (in August 19) said something about adding a url. How do I do that?

Sorry for the complete lack of knowledge - if anyone has enough patience can they try and help please?

Thanks

If you are running a very old version of openatv/wooshbuild then the chances are that e2istream will not show up in the extensions library.
Check and post the versions on your box and we can give a better idea.
