Never bothered until now as have had a HTC 8 for a number of years and new car radio has android and wondered what was that =transfer music from phone to radio via bluetooth i am told .
Do many of you use phone to play music on other things as not sure what to use, cheers.

On your phone and radio turn bluetooth on,Then on the phone in settings look for connected devices,Select the "Pair new devices" option, that should open up the "Available devices" In that list should be your radio.Select your radio and it should auto connect to the radio or you might have to confirm on the radio by pressing a button.

There's always the paid option of Deezer or Spotify, you can download music all over the place as long as you have a big enough SD card in your phone.
Also nearly every radio station has its own app so you can listen any show any time, also they have their podcasts in their too but you do need to use mobile data,Unless you drive behind a bus all the way to were your going for free wifi

Any good apps for downloading music as i might have to stick it on pc and send to phone,i hate small writing :LOL:

You can download albums to your phone from pirate bay (you'll need a vpn, and an app called uTorrent on your phone) or you can download them to a pc and copy them across to your phone the same way.

Also if you have amazon prime you can put the prime music app on your phone and download music from that, or just stream what you want.

No idea what size is in my phone would need to open it up and check.
When i had spotify on pc the quality was not fantastic and later found you tube videos had much more punch giving me picture and better sound.

Not been on Pirate bay for many years and dont use vpn.

I was looking at that when buying the radio and wondered how good the quality is on Prime?

Maybe another way is stick music onto usb stick, choices choices choices, possibly will be at destination before i chose what music to listen too.

I've got a mazda and installed android auto on the head unit. I connect the phone to the car via usb and bluetooth. I can then talk to the phone and send message read what apps. but the main one i use is Spotify. Get an account of ebay it only costs a couple of quid for 3 months (less even). I can control the whole playlist via the touch screen in the car or just ask it to play any tune i want. :)

then go for tidal they offer high quality music and offline

get a vpn and get it cheaper
you will need the hi-fi
if your audiophile you will need something like that

there is other out there who only offer music at high quality

Only works on WiFi or phone Internet You can get Spotify for free but you can't download the songs tho. Got to use WiFi or Internet to make it work just Google
Spotify add free mod

Yeah i think spotify is great, just set up a playlist and fill your boots mate, its well worth 10 quid a month, there's loads of cheaper ones but I don't want to lose my playlist as I have so many songs take me absolutely forever to get them back, plus I have loads of playlist set up, you could also try "tidal" my dad really likes that, he dont like Spotify.
