Satellite H7s stuck on boot

Hi all, Been having alot of issues with this box. I could not flash it last week but i had a very patient fella talk me through the set up and got the box working again. I then lost epg and catch up and the time would not correct its self. the box would freeze when validating. I have tried to flash again and set up following the steps from last week and now the box is stuck on boot. I have down loaded open atv to a memory stick and i have put that in the back of the box (box switched off) held the reset button on the front and switched the box on using the button on the back. The display did flash up with FLS but went of immediately (no time to let go of the button) i have tried this 3 times now and it is just stuck on boot. Not sure what to do next other than bin it. Is there a low to no maintenance box which supports recording and catch up, not to worried about price if it means less hassle.

Format your USB stick with this:
http://www.willobuild.net/files/Utilities/Preparing Flash Drives.zip

Download this image and extract to USB stick:
https://www.openvix.co.uk/openvix-builds/zgemmah7/openvix-5.4.001.release-zgemmah7_recovery_emmc.zip

Insert stick into white rear USB port and power on whilst holding the little button in under the front flap until FLSH appears on LCD.

If you can't get it going don't bin it, I've just fried the mobo on mine
I found your thread and tried that but with the exception of i used open atv. would that have made a difference. I also have no clue what im doing lol

ATV is fine if that's your cup of tea. You must flash the recovery version by USB though and NOT the one that is labelled USB

You should be alright restoring settings so long as you're not restoring whatever cocked it up in the first place.
If it doesn't work flash without restoring.

I think i have it back to wooshbuild now, Just waiting for it to restart. But seriously is there another box that does not require so much attention. I understand the service we are getting and understand it will have troubles but dont need the box doing it as well as i am clueless..

my h7s and h52tc do this to
i have had the same usb and haven't used them in a white. never touch the stick worked before
i thought it was a firmware thing on the boxes
not to worried il get a new drive some stage

Hi lads,
Im having the same issue as above,
So by reading the solution all i have to do is download the recovery file and then flash this onto the box.
i have been currently trying to flash the original usb onto it but no joy
It gets stuck on boot after the power has been lost to box,

hi,
Im using a sandisk cruzer blade,
it works eventually with the usb plugged in,
I tried to reflash but it stays on flsh for less than a second,
Eventually the box comes on after I press the power button multiple times and keep powering it back up from the back.
open atv 6.4 is on the box also
Thanks for the reply

You can only flash the recovery file by usb. The usb image needs to be flashed via image manager.

I know it sounds arse about face but that's how it is.
