Do i install as followed
Ethernet from superhub to mango
Set up vpn on mango then does my smart tv then have to be connected to the mango instead of the superhub or is there settings etc to be changed on my superhub, also do all my devices still be able to connect to my Vm router kids tablets phones etc as its really good in that respect
Thanks in advance

What ever devices you want going through your vpn router then they need to be connected to it so if you want your tv running through vpn then connect it to your vpn router same with phones laptops firestick zgemma ect

So is the setup like iv described then or is there more to it i basically wanna have my tv with iptv running through the vpn and everything else through my superhub as it is now
Thanks again

I think you have to put your vm hub into modem mode then plug your vpn router into your vm router for it to work I'm not sure on the vm side of things with routers and attaching vpn router to it.
With a sly router you just connect vpn router to it via ethanet then just connect what devices you want to it

Ok tar
Its doin my head in keep getting told just add vpn its easy, but doesnt seem to be im not a tech person so need it to be in basic terms
Thanks for replying anyway

Have you plugged your vpn router into the vm router via ethanet and is showing up when scanning for WiFi say off your phone? If so try connecting to it on WiFi and load a web page up

Just be aware with this router that the maximum download is limited to @ 10mbps due to it only being a travel router.
I have one and set up open vpn and works ok. I have set up others for mates and they really struggle with speeds. Not set any up with VM though. If you need more download speed then a better router would be needed

No i havent got the router yet because im yet to get a definitive way its done, iv been told get the mango vpn but then im reading iv gotta put Vm hub into modem mode also people saying the mango dont work well for iptv also

I should imagine it’s set up the same with all providers. Plug it into your existing routers Ethernet. This will then broadcast a separate network that you log into on a pc. Then use the routers IP to log into the router and upload the vpn files onto it. Once you enable a vpn country, you can log onto the new router with you device

Ok thanks
So do i buy a vpn subscription then login into the new router and is there a option to add a vpn within it then

You need to buy a vpn subscription. Log in and download the vpn files (different countries) you I’ll also have a username and password to put in every time you upload a file. Only you’ve downloaded the countries/files, you select the county. This will stay active until you decide to change countries. If your after a vpn, I have just signed up to these as it’s for life. Too early to say what they’re like but early indications I’m very happy
VPN Unlimited - £12.80 With Code @ StackSocial - hotukdeals

I then connect to the setting on the router through my phone to change the vpn country

mate of mine with virgin has the Liberty shield, it's all set up for you when you order from them, just tell them you isp.
ie virgin, bt whoever, plug it into your isp router leaving isp router as is, then anything you want vpn on you connect to the liberty shield.

the lite version i think only downloads at max 30meg the pro (i think it's called) goes a lot faster.
he says it works with no problems

no i think if you put vm router into modem mode everthing then has to go through the vpn, as you have sort of disabled the virgin router.

Thanks mate
Iv seen these if there as straightforward as that then il pay for the pro no problem, i dont understand throttle and all this apparant stuff that Vm can use, as i understand it the pro can easily allow me to enough mbps to watch iptv hassle free not sure on the lite as its apparantly only kickin out 11 mbps in some situations be interested to know if anybody else on here using virgin has got liberty

Okay mate it is really as simple as plugging it in, the trick is talking to libertyshield as there is different setting for different isp.
You will have a trial period anyway so if the worst comes to the worst just send it back.

So can anyone confirm the liberty shield plugs into my existing Vm router then connect my tv to it and thats it ? Im keen to get this sorted with as little hassle

Yes. It just plugs into your router. I think you have to subscribe to it using the code that comes with it. Works out to around £6 a month. You control the router using a dashboard

I used to have liberty shield VPN I cancelled within a month too slow
then i tried surfshark and nordVPN I got speed up to 30-35 mbps on Asus RT-AC88U Router
I also ordered from Currys RT-AC86U £125.
You don't have to put your VM hub into modem mode just connect to the spare ethernet port.
I would go for Asus RT-Ac86u router and Surfshark VPN
NordVPN is too expensive and no better.
I don't recommend Liberty Shield VPN if you decide to go that route then go for pro Router
I have Lite Router in the house doing nothing
