Channels not loading all the time on Zgemma H9 twin

Hi there,

I have a Zgemma H9 twin and I have all my channels in bouquets which I made myself from echanneliser and downloaded onto zgemma using m3u from the provider. It’s all been working perfect for months however the last couple weeks I have been having issues where I will press a channel and it won’t play then I will go to another channel and it will play then if I keep flicking through another one or two channels eventually another channel doesn’t play however if I go back to the original channel that wasn’t playing it plays fine. So the only way to get a channel to play that wasn’t playing is to keep flickering through channels until another doesn’t play and then you can watch the channel that you originally wanted by going back to it if it doesn’t play first time. It happens all the time and can be on any channel at any time you just follow what I said to get it working but is very annoying. I am using open ATV 6.4 wooshbuild infinity. Never had this issue until recently but can’t get rid of it and it’s frustrating. I tried reflashing the box and that didn’t work either. I have tested the Iptv service on my phone and every channel plays first time of asking so got no idea why I’m having this weird issue hope someone can help. Thanks

The ServiceApp plugin may help...
Press GREEN, GREEN on Remote
Downloadable Plugins:
Select systemplugins:
Select serviceapp (0.5+git161)
Press OK to download and install
When installed, restart box...
After box reboots:
Press MENU on Remote
Select Setup
Select Usage & User Interface
Select Serviceapp
Change Enigma2 playback system from original to serviceapp
Change Player ffrom gstplayer to exteplayer3
Press GREEN OK to save
Restart Enigma2 now? = Yes
The ServiceApp Plugin replaces the built in Enigma 2 player with exteplayer3 that uses less ram/cpu power and handles .ts streams better. Once installed, long-press Red Power button and restart box...

Hi Panorama93,
I have already previously tried this from reading another thread but unfortunately it didn’t work and the same issue continued. Once the channel gets going and is playing it can play constantly across the whole day and overnight without freezing dead and that’s without using the service app so the channels are running smoothly when playing no freezing at all, it’s just why they don’t always play first time of selecting them is the frustrating part I want to solve.

May be worth getting trials from other provider/s to compare first time playing issue.
Also in broadband router, temporarily disable security settings and see if it makes a difference.
