Hi

I have a Zgemma H9 twin receiver for my parents room and they mainly watch Utsav plus/gold and colours channels. Lately some of these channels keep going dark and glitches so much.
Is it my provider or something wrong with everyone?

Have the same issue, was thinking it could be the cam but still glitchy or dark.

Yh it is annoying. I just wish it was possible to pay for sky officially but use your own receiver. I would gladly pay full price and have glitch free service but to use enigma 2 becuase sky interface is pants.

Get a top end box and use a good iptv provider. Forget about c/s on 28e for a while every provider is the same

i have a iptv but the channel Utsav plus and colour ristay same it wont clear. its happening at my ate aswell on his fire stick.

Just checked a few and one's that do clear on sat have high ECM times. Probably too many shares with not many real cards.

IPTV is never reliable esp with recordings. Satellite is far better for recording purposes. I have IPTV from a good supplier but the problem is enigma 2 receivers struggle to record and when i go back to my recordings the next day. It failed somehow or has split the recordings into multiple files because it failed somehow. Another problem with IPTV is you can not enable subtitles where on satellite you can.

Ultimately a stream will always have problems recording as opposed to DVB S satellite signal

Use mgcamd with a line for sly for parents.

For most remaining channels its pretty poor.

But for asian channels it seems to work fine for the most part.

But they have complained that Sony Max, zee and star plus (whatever its called now) is freezing and glitching alot.

So seems Asian channels will be giving the same issues as the others soon enough.

Don't think many use local cards for remaining channels which is likely the main issue for these problems.

So the glitching is caused by lack of local cards. . How do you know if a provider is using local cards to avoid glitching or even some channels going dark.?

Is Mgcamd better than OSCAM?

Just going by with remaining channels probably not alot of local cards in circulation. Plus if there are too many shares that could be better.

Have tried oscam before but same issues with these channels.
