Yeah, that's how I download my apps, have to change the Dropbox link from www.dropbox.com to dl.dropboxusercontent.com for it to become a direct download.

It was a free site and I had a fair few things in filelinked and not cheesed off as always used a backup to store things!!!!

Ah right so it was free then fair enough, wise decision to have data save in different places, let's hope nobody was daft enough to store important data there as a back up then 🤣 🤣

You don't really store anything on the filelinked site, more links to other files ( hence the name) . Was useful to side load apps easily, when setting up android devices.

much easier to use send files to TV. just download app to phone and send to android box. The only app i need this for is Tea TV.

File linked was very easier to install apps direct on firestick without faffing about if you had the codes.

apps2fire is good for sending apps from phone to android devices

good alternative to apps2fire, or files to tv is X-plore, with it you can link, download, transfer apk's from any device (incl pc) or cloud storage and better still can use to delete all the junk. I keep all my apks in my cloud store from where I can install as required.

I remember downloading what I thought was a Linkin Park Music Video back in the day on Limewire but it was a guy doing some unsavory things with a horse. Gladly it was on my mates PC. Thinking back I should have known better as the filename was something like LinkinParkHoRsE.WMV.

Once i knew what it was I dragged and dropped it into his familys 'Majorca holiday (2006)' folder lol

Has to be direct apks I’ve been trying all morning to use my own links from media fire and won’t play ball the dev is going to look so likes of Dropbox ect can be used

I have direct links. Someone said they managed to use Dropbox last night. When I've tried direct link it gives an extension error. Think I'll stick with code in downloader.

It's still early days for applinked so hopefully they can iron out bugs

Hmm may have to try Dropbox and see

Think over time applinked can be as good as filelinked.

It's still pretty new so you would expect teethring problems.
