Yeah, that's how I download my apps, have to change the Dropbox link from www.dropbox.com to dl.dropboxusercontent.com for it to become a direct download.
It was a free site and I had a fair few things in filelinked and not cheesed off as always used a backup to store things!!!!Was this a paid site? Glad I never used it to save any of my data there if it's been lost, some users must be really cheesed off.

Hmm may have to try Dropbox and seeI have direct links. Someone said they managed to use Dropbox last night. When I've tried direct link it gives an extension error. Think I'll stick with code in downloader.
It's still early days for applinked so hopefully they can iron out bugs
