IPTV Stream buffering on Firestick but not on Smart TV

So I have Samsung Smart TV with the Smart IPTV (siptv) app installed using my .m3u list and on the whole there is very little buffering or freezing.
I buy a Firestick (2021 release)and install the Smart IPTV app on it, upload the same .m3u list, connect to the same wifi but get lots of buffering and freezing.
Anybody care to suggest what the issue might be?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Go on firestick settings, manage installed apps, siptv app, clear cache. And reboot your firestick and router by switching both off at the mains and back on. And make sure you're fully logged out of the siptv account on your TV

If the app ran fine over WiFi on your TV there's no reason why it shouldn't on the stick.

If on a single connection are you completely closing the shite IPTV app on tv properly so it’s not staying open as that can cause problems.
If on a multiroom connection shouldn’t be an issue really but personally why use the shite IPTV app on a firestick when there’s better apps out there to use ask your provider if he has a hardcored/custom app you can use.
Is your tv hardwired(ethanet) or is it on WiFi.
Also download analiti I think it’s called for firestick to run a speed test to see what speeds are going to the firestick.

Believe it's Analiti the speed test most use on fire stick.

Thanks for for the replies. I will look at the advice on settings and report back.

I've been using IPTV for a few years now (on Smart TV), can't remember how I can to use the sip tv app, but that is the one that I have been using. I have had several providers over that time and the app has been working ok on the TV.

Would you care to suggest a better app than the one that I am currently using?
What is a 'hardcored' app?

A 'hardcored' app is something that your supplier will supply, and normally all you have to put in is Username & Password everything else is already setup (hardcored). A good player (in my opinion) is Tivimate (was £4.99 for 5 connections for one year or £18 for a lifetime subscription. Can't go wrong with this player, but there are many out there

Depends what make tv you have bud really.
A hardcored app is a providers app where the dns is hidden so all you get is username and password
tvs aint designed for iptv its not package data like netflix ect,tbf siptv is one of the crappest about nower days but i would get a device ,hard wired to router + see if your supplier has a proper app,
I disagree with that a smart tv can handle IPTV really well the likes of Samsung/LG/android tv the thing with the siptv app is that on smart tv the app dosnt have the memory for big playlists so you have to strip the likes of world channels vod back off it.
