6.6 i think, teying to flash via command line now and getting the roots error and putty disconnects

Assume you following this ,WilloBuild - WilloBuild OpenViX 6.5 Series
Not sure if it supports 6.6 , could be wrong.
But it don't support 6.4 Vix as I asked before attempting
Will flash with 6.5 now to see

How did you flash 6.6 , btw. It's the extracted files you put on the root of the usb. Any option to online flash from current image

I haven't got this box but checking the flashing process,
You have the correct files etc and press the rear reset button until the front air digital logo flashes white / red then release the button.
Not sure what else, do it still boot up 6. 6

- My script flashes the latest version of Vix and downloads my backup to restore. Problem is, the script is downloading Vix 6.6 and my backup is for 6.5 and I'm on holiday and can't do anything about it. Best bet is to flash 6.6, don't restore and then flash 6.5 from the image manager and then restore my backup. Normal service will be restored on Wednesday.
You transfer the h9 folder as it is don't unzip it
Alone with the other two files onto formated to
32 u.s.b stick make sure no other u.s.b stick is in the receiver. Hold in the black reset button. Press the white power button once Hold the black reset button until the Airdigtal logo flashes
Red then release the black reset button Then don't touch anything until the Airdigital logo turns white and the main screen appears

Have flashed 6.6 and it's on box, can i flash 6.5 from the box without usb and then add your build. I have plain openvix 6.6 with nothing added as of yet
You can flash 6.5 using the remote if there is enough space on the usb for temporary storage as the box needs somewhere to stash the download

Yes, do as willo suggests, I am staying on 6.6 and see what he does once back from holiday. Can live will plain Vix atm

That the slightly confusing part his script flashes latest Vix 6.6 and downloads his build6.5 to be restored over )on top off Vix , so like he stated to get his build you have to run the script but don't restore at the 6.6 flash, then manage online and flash 6.5 and then restore his willobuild6.5 that should be on your usb stick or where ever you store your back ups
