These boxes i know well carn't comment on other brands. And are normally easy to get in Europe.
Qivart Dual Android/Enigma2 Great if you like enigma 2 and like messing. It does have its issues with dish movement and is laggy on the Android side where the good stuff is.
GTMedia Combo Android. Too many bugs to consider, particularly if your dish is motorized.
Sat 4K Solid lack of updates at the moment. Best of the lot.
GT Media V8 Solid lack of updates relatively small channel number allowed a problem if your motorized. Does a full reboot coming out of standby take a while and is annoying.

These are no use , receivers ferret suggested you need , haven't you already got a octagon sf8008

What do you want from any potential new box? as in channels etc.?
Strange you ask on this thread its got nothing to do with those models
Ok so with a Hedges Channel list, what setting need to be changed to get the best out of it, I got a motor and can see all the channels I can, I have no EPG whatsoever and only way I can access channel categories is via the yellow button when using Chmax New epg

I’m sure I messed up something somewhere, I have sort order as Favor?

Sorry i don use any list i just blind scan the whole arc then Sort A-Z job done im use to it just like that.
@hedges2016 will be able to explain what is included in his lists ive tagged him for you.
Thanks, I see the favoured categories if I got to channel list settings, but from epg cannot cycle through them, they just don’t appear, I just did a factory reset and tried the latest channel list and still the same 🤷♂️

If using viark sat 4K you need

If using Viark Sat non 4K you need

I'm still not sure whether I'm going to do this or the blindscan option like you did when I get my set up done. How long did blindscannimg the whole arc take btw?
