Since my V8UHD blew out I've ordered a Viark Sat 4K.

Would anyone be able to link that PDF instructions and latest firmware please?

Am I correct in that the channel list used for the V8UHD is the same for the Viark?

The fw just click back on the forever-Gshare as your already in the correct section

You should always backup your CCcam.cfg to send back into the box. Sometimes a firmware update wipes the CCcam.cfg out sometimes not.

I hope you have a copy.

Yes, happened to me as well gtmedia V8UHD. No big drama though, I had a backup to copy back across via USB. All is good again after restoring it.

no viarks work differently they work via your serial number being connected to the server.

Does anyone know a proper way to reboot or shutdown the viark 4k.
It looks like the only way is to pull it the cable or switch off the power from the socket.

There is a standby setting that when you disable the box does a clean boot each time powered on and off via remote, can’t remember the exact setting right now.

Power button puts in in standby, is it safe to then just pull out the plug when in standby mode?

If you do as Manic01 states above the power button will power it down. Then when pressed again it will reboot.
