Just noticed on GTMEDIA V8UHD something they've changed in the firmware for the latest server update means that when the box is in standby it no longer shows the time anymore , now it just displays 'OFF' , I can't see any settings on the box to make it display the clock like it used to on previous firmware, shame that was a good feature.

Mines saying "Scramble Channel" all of a sudden

EDIT: Looks like the Sky SPorts channels as alot of others are working.
 
Sky Sports Cricket etc seems to be working for me now, Viark Sat 4K.

Check with my old man and his V8UHD is working too.

Silly question and know it’s been answered but can’t find.

Can you do Over the air update on V8HD or does it need to be done by usb? Also do you lose any settings?

When I did my viark I lost all channels and had to rescan all sats
 
Just a quick ask, on another place someone is asking for help with their gtmedia V8 uhd, can i ask when you renew your sub on the gtmdia are you given a cline to enter somewhere? They say they had been sold a vip package to see sly uk, is that correct and the seller took there serial number?

Its a file they give you normally named CCcam.cfg that you upload from USB

If it's a renewal then they don't supply you with any files as you already have the CCcam.cfg from when you first subscribed.

This is to help out someone at another place we all hang out. This is what he posted and it looks like he deleted his line and was not given another.

Hi all, sorry if this is covered elsewhere but I’m struggling to find an answer.

I bought a used V8 UHD running Mars which also had a subscription on it until mid August.

I stupidly updated the firmware without saving the line details so I thought I would just buy a new sub.

I contacted a seller who told me the VIP Package was what I needed (I can only see Astra 28.2e) to see SLY UK HD. He told me he had given me a free trial of this and took my box id.

Issue is none of the scrambled channels are working and seller doesn’t know why. GT VOD is working though. Do I need a CCCam file added on a VIP Sub?

I also think it would be Mars Europe he should of subbed to for SKY UK but ive never renewed mine its in a draw so i could be wrong there.
