Hi guys on the Viark is everyone epg messed up ?? 28.2 ?? Says right time as 19.32 but epg show and time shows 6.30 and a totally wrong programme??

What EPG is available on 28 has been like that since 1.21 i think.

Move to other sats and it is fine. I just think the EPG has always been incomplete and a bit crap on 28.
 
The Usals settings now show all menus properly, so you can move east west and fine scan and see what you're doing ,
30w doesn't freeze on tp 12300, however it's still doing a blind scan and total TP shows 218. Not sure how many TP are on Hispasat 30w. All Lnb show universal and Usals stay saved

When ive looked a lot are almost identical details except the symbol rate might be 1 less. Example 22000 and 21999
 
I’ve updated to new SW. Input the USALS as was. But my satellite isn’t moving now! It’s stuck on 16. All the SS & Arena are clearing. But just not moving between the sats. Any idea what I’ve done wrong? I saved my channel list & uploaded too.

Have you then set all the sats to use usuals ? There is more to it than just sticking your coordinate in.

Is USALS set up on each satellite

What would you recommend I do now? It’s stuck on 16 now, am I gonna have to get up a ladder to move it to 0.8 & start all over again or is there an easier solution?

The database can change from one firmware version to another. Its only advisable to use a database on the same version of software its created on.

For firmware updates just a channel list backup is all you need it will store the Sats set to usuals so you would not have to do that again.

To backup your channel list

Go to USB
Press EPG then key in 113 and select save
