from what I read re 28.2 it looks like they changed and updated the old sky digital boxes so it may never come back. i wonder if most of the market "move on" from viark and what that means for them in the future

if you mostly want UK sly and most off European channels available you should go with sp1 sub is that not right ?

if you mostly want UK sly then i suggest take a legit sub only was to be certain you get no interruptions , i believe the only reason UK ever was opened to begin with was to simply draw in and sell subs a plenty , there will still be a massive majority that will continue to renew even at the current overpriced and inflated money they are asking .
And Yes C/N Lines and Oscam is and will be still continue to be every bit as effective more so now than ever i believe .
And no only a total n00b would ever wanna use any lines in any of those Virak/GT Media boxes as you are simply begging for that connection to be reshared and abused until it quickly gets switched off by the supplier .

SP1 Spain when it comes to renewal and suck it up and pay the inflated overpriced fees .
but to begin with yes you get 3 years and like i said 1 year Free of the now totally irrelevant SP2 IPTV .

Can you use a channels list containing 7w channels when dish is parked at 8W?

Of course making sure USAL is off etc ?

Thought that may be easier than scanning yourself.

I have 1 meter dish so dont think it will pick those channels anyway. Otherwise would have tried before posting.

Is this C/N lines for alternative motorised sat positioning? Obviously there are other locations to pick up the feeds but is there an easy way once these are open to pickup on some kind of epg etc?

No you are missing the important bit.

The 8w frequencies and channels have to be scanned in on the 7w menu position.

There was a post in another thread this morning and the person was struggling opening supersport channels this morning on a sat 4k. They would open for seconds then shut.
 
Hi guys After spending a while reading this thread, I have decided to order viark sat 4k arriving next week , obviously I am aware after reading on here I will need to update to latest PT firmware to reciever when it arrives , to open up forever server channels , with the latest PT firmware in downloads on this site my question ( sorry being bit thick) but should I update with v1.24 11/09/2025 first, then apply
v1.25 27/10/2025 channel freeze fix ? Or can I use v1.25 27/10/2025 to reciever right out off the box , and re channel lists ( Hedges) been recommended by several members here is it the same procedure to upload to reciever ? Thanks for who ever replies
 
Go straight to 1.25 mate

The box arrives with standard Viark firmware and not the PT firmware.

Hedges list on a usb, install from the net and games section USB highlight and press OK.

Many thanks for reply mate , if I gathered from reading on the site correctly v1.25. Software that should give me sp1 channels ? ( Whichever are currently opening yes ? And then I have 2years sub still on the the box before if and when up for renewal ?
