Howdi folks so I got this for a friend as im using a FS that will be getting ditched eventually.. so this M11 box works fine on my TV no issues.. take it it my m8s who recently got a Hisense Smart TV but we get no sound at all even on YouTube im assuming it's some setting but got no idea what to change.. anyone got any ideas ??

On my LG Tv , sometimes the sound doesn’t come on firestick , I have to switch my freeviewbox on then the sound works … such an easy fix it’s not worth investigating for me , has he anything else attached ?

Tried both same issue. Plus the working HDMI cable on my TV is the 1 I just connect into his i even tried spare HDMI cable but still same no sound on his TV.. I basically have it all connected up working fine on my TV and dont change anything so when just attach all the cables at his end no sound not even on YT .

He had his TV cable provider on HDMI 1 but I removed it and tried on both HDMI ports same issue no sound..
 
I had a similar problem a while back with a friends new Samsung tv, he had no sound when he connected his satellite receiver, I fixed it by disabling the HDMI CEC setting.
Maybe worth a try.
