Looks like an in the market for a new receiver , what would you suggest these days. 2 tuners and capable of running an IPTV feed.

All the VU+ 4k boxes are very good, but also quite expensive.
If i was buying again diffentily would go for the AB pluse 4K twin satellite tunner

What impact would Ethernet RJ45: 10/100 Mbps cause , any playback issues

Depends on your budget.
Any of the E2 boxes on the market will run IPTV, just some will do it better than others.

Its not going to have any trouble with a IPTV account.

Not sure what that means but iptv is the only drain on bandwidth, using it for satellite doesn't use anything. Iptv will run fine on 10/100 lan adaptor

Maybe I should have elaborated a bit more but thought it would be normal that I'd be using it for satellite (euro line) and also add a IPTV line. I wasn't going to solely use it for IPTV.
Just wanted suggestions for a new E2 box , if MARs GT box came to an end.

You wont be able to beat the xtrend remote control. That and the VU remotes are the best out there.
I still use my xtrend 10000 remote for my mums Zgemma h9 twin receiver
Quad core V Dual and 2gb ram v 1gb.
Very much a decent upgrade, if i didnt need the FBC tuner in my UE the AB would be my box of choice.

Massive the 8500 cannot play HVEC streams which is why mine no longer is use.
