Looking for basic freesat/Saoirview box

Freely is still in its early days at the moments. It looks like a good idea from a distance, but none of the major tv manufacturers (Samsung, LG, Sony) have implemented it in their sets yet. Samsung are pushing Samsung TV Plus; LG have something similar I believe.

Satellite will be going until at least the end of 2029. Freeivew will be going until 2034.

You could buy a box with satellite and terrestrial tuners. Alternatively, usb dvb-t tuners work with many of these boxes.

Only issues there are boxes with only 1 usb port as many older ones i have got 2 in use.

And while on here i might ask to Upgrade H7S to a combo box 28.2 and Saorview tuners and i have an externally powered drive?? or nas and internal ssd.

I want OpenVix on box so needs to be image supported and was looking at this one ??

I've had the octagon for years now and it's never missed a beat, it doesn't have an internal caddy on mine but a harddrive plugged into the back.
The only thing I am not keen on is the remote it's got a round back which I find uncomfortable. Good box.
