They've apparently announced a new "VIP2" package just for the World Cup.

It means VIP users won't be able to watch the World Cup on BEIN/Max unless they also buy the VIP2 package 🙃

Won't be long before they sell you it per package, then shortly after per channel.

1. VIP(Without BN MAX)
-Delete the IPTV Service
-Added 1 Month from 9/5 to 10/8

2. VIP2
-50days : VIP + BN MAX + IPTV (For the world cup starting from 01/06/2026)

Once VIP2 renewed, the VIP will also extend the time. So the VIP still valid devices, will not lost any time.

Since moviestar has strongly attack the card, so the HD channels will switch to VIP in MENA. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi all - has anyone been told their Viark 4k sat is registered in Spain and therefore they need to get the region changed?

I want to get Bein Sports on 7/8w, but I am struggling with what package to buy and where from. 1 seller said my box needed the region changing in order to be renewed with the correct sub to receive Bein and gave me an email address (along the lines of Gary..won't write the full thing here) but I have had nothing back.

A touch confused if I am honest.

Thanks for the response Ferret - when looking at available packages I can only see SP1 and SP2 available on one of the check status sites - can I PM you?

This is the exact roadblock I was running into too.

Gave up after DM'ing the upteenth seller via Whatsapp, and they all said my box was "Spanish" and therefore couldn't have VIP

Well my boxes are Spanish. All Viarks are.

I got in quick, by the look of @manic01 post they now can not take payment for Spanish boxes .

Beyond that info ive no idea.

I think for those of us in the UK, they are certainly not as attractive as they used to be with 28.2e no longer being supported etc.

I believe if you have a motorised setup, some of the channels are less glitchy through forever compared to a multi sat oscam subscription (Supersport albania rings a bell? correct me if I am wrong) but in reality...I only plugged mine back in the other day after about 18 months as I saw talk of being able to receive Bein...I can get about 8db on it so was interested in paying the price to get it, but in reality, if like me, you simply need it for sports, I have survived perfectly fine without the box using a solid, private IPTV provider, the only thing you are really going to deal with is a bit of a delay compared to satellite. Most good providers have a solid source for NowTV sourced channels along with English language channels for 3pm kick offs.

Don't get me wrong, 28.2e bitrates for sports were fantastic, but I have settled with an IPTV Source and watching the UHD NowTV channels...bitrates are around 10Mbit/s but they are HEVC...They aren't as good as SS HD over sat, but they are more then good enough given the convenience (Please do not message me asking for my IPTV source)

Yep - pretty annoying - I may look to get a GTMedia if it comes with VIP but I doubt it will - As mentioned above, I am in the IPTV boat at the moment until maybe something big happens again (I don't think it will)

The V8, V8 Ultra or Combo do not come with any subs attached but they are capable of VIP

The boxes no, the service, a little. the interest in these boxes, absolutely.

The prices of the subs have gone up, the packages they open have gone down and then you need different packages every other week it seems.

It started with 28.2 going off, and since then, they are constantly messing about with the subs, just feels like it's now any excuse to rip users off (imo).

Not attempting to take the topic of discussion, but either you stomach the Viark and the ever changing prices or go down the traditional CS e2 route.

That said, I constantly find myself using my viark to watch live sports. I still can't get away from wanting my live sports live and Sat ticks that box deeply.

This was the dilemma I had - CS E2 route felt like it became more and more unreliable over time for me - I still have my Octagon Sf8008 and use it for FTA stuff, I have then created a channel list to get paid channels from my IPTV source. I wouldn't mind having a line again,

I agree with all this. If you just got one of these boxes for 28e then sadly that’s not what it should’ve been bought for. You need to have motor setup to truly benefit from these boxes.

I agree with the parts about the people running it and making money grabs with VIP and ViP 2 etc blah blah, but let’s be honest, it’s cost me an extra £20 to be able to watch bein sports, sky IT etc. yes I was more than happy with 16e and 19.2 but this is handy. The actual servers I also think are better than the CS servers you see out there. I got a line for my E2 box and the forever/mars is much more stable.

How long will this last who knows but I defo think it’s worth it IF you have the full motor setup

I use 16east for football and 23east is good for general entertainment.
Ive got a few viarks on two motorised dishes and they are probably the best things ive ever bought.

Hmm I find oscam on my ultimo 4k to be pretty much the same on viark.
Maybe ever so slightly better on the viark. But you get some odd number appearing on the screen with the viark every now and then while the matches go on. This is for 16.e
