Still decent mate but you could take a look at the new Gigablue UHD Quad 4k Pro
Dunno if it's worth the upgrade tbh,i got the UE 6 years ago and it has the same processor as the latest Quad and the UE.
Sat box upgrades really do move at a glacial pace.Wish i had kept my ET8500 😢

Its not in my opinion but it does have 4gb ram the UE only has 2gb

Id not upgrade just for that on a satellite box.

sorry I am new to this does define os mean you can use android on define os and switch to enigma if need be?

Very much what you get in a budget receiver, still very capable..

If you want a bit more ram in a receiver that is still affordable have a look at the AB Pulse 4K rev 2

Hi @Ferret. Just a query about tuner strength....

The Octagon SF8008 ver 1 tuner is known to be quite good and sensitive, and now the Ver 3 is likely just as good,
as ver 2 was a step down from Ver 1.

Do you know if the AB Pulse 4k rev 2 tuner is a match for the Octagon SF8008 Ver 1 and Ver 3?

Thanks.

OK, no worries, thanks for replying.

Maybe someone on the forum has experience with it on hard to get signals and can inform us of what it was like. Better still,
I will seek out the AB Pulse threads and see if the tuner sensitivity is discussed.
