Openvpn / vpnmanager no configs

Hi everyone, i am looking for a bit of advice regarding the openvpn plugin.
I have downloaded the plugin and run the vpn generator but no joy, the plugin has installed but there is
no configs showing, can anyone give me a heads up as to what i need to do next.
I am using the terminal in webif if that makes a difference, i don't know.
I have also tried via putty, same result.

You'll need to copy the vpn provider's config files onto your box, and reference the location of them in the plugin's settings

this is the method that I’ve used several times now Enigma 2 vpn Setup Easy Method without any problems
until now and it's got me stumped, and i know that there are people on the forum way better than myself on a e2 box so i thought maybe someone
could give me a heads up.

You still need a vpn, it doesn't give you a free vpn, it just configures the one you have already bought.
Who is your vpn with?
Proton, PIA, etc?

Thanks for the reply pablo, i have a vpn ( PIA ) and used the vpn script generator in this thread Enigma 2 vpn Setup Easy Method
but to no avail. I have used the method before without problems but this has me stumped.

Maybe your vpn has expired.
Or you haven't entered your username and password correctly.
Which version of openatv are you using?

My vpn is ok as its running on the pc and laptop, i have checked, and double checked, and i am on the latest vix.

In that case you'll have to follow @xero50 advice above and download the config files from your provider and copy them into your E2 receiver

Maybe try this one. Just download the PIA.sh, change username and password and send it to the script folder and run it from within the image..

It's been a while since I've used openvpn I use wire guard plugin.

In VPN manager can you choose settings and check all configs in one folder is yes

if you have a idiots setup guide for wire guard i would be grateful.

Ok what box are you using? I'll try and have a look at the script although it's been a while since using the scripts so I'll have to remember how to do debug it.

In the meantime if you have an arm device you can try wireguard plugin available via feeds extensions.

In the wireguard plugin choose personal files no then choose provider pia VPN.

Add your username and password then save. If done correctly you can choose different countries. Check openvpn is not running before starting wireguard.
