Install apps from unknown sources Firestick

Anyone able to help me here? I’m a developer on my firestick but when I try to side load an app via downloader, I can’t allow it in the install unknown apps section, I’ve tried restoring to factory settings, clearing app cache/data and nothing works.

Appreciate any help anyone can give, at my wits end here

Fire tv stick HD running on Fire OS 7.7.1.6 if that helps. I’ve used loads of firesticks and never seen this issue, the stick is brand new, only opened it this morning.

EOD I have the app on loads of other sticks. The app downloads fine in downloader, it’s when I reach install I run into problems

That’s the thing I don’t get the option to change this to yes. Can’t understand it

If you restored factory settings, check for updates from amazon.
Reboot after any updates and check that you have developer options enabled

Update until there's no more updates left to install.
Then reboot it and check for updates again.
Then enable Apps from Unknown Sources in developer options

Never mind, if you don't know then you aren't using it.

At this stage I feel like I’ve tried every sort of combination to get it to work. I’ve changed nothing in settings apart from and and tried to change install unknown apps

My supplier say's that and vega won't work you need 4k one or max.
