Homeplugs and Kyrptview a780

had to use home plugs to connect my box but the one on the A780 doesnt show up down to terrestrial channels BIG BIG HELP

did you reboot box modem and router as in off for 30 secs then on ,it might just reconnect,if not maybe faulty cable/homeplug or on a different main/circuit.

it worked ok at first but then it all went off, do you think i need an update and if so how to and what do i need as in cables, software etc.:) thanks for answer

no update needed try again with a reboot

if u have no terrestrial channels it is not down to your BB connectin and therefore nothing to do with ur homeplugs. possibly some clarification needed as to the full extent of issue

Little unclear to me also, presume he means quote "down to terrestrial channels" only.

Do the channels show scrambled or are they not there at all.?

Try direct from router to box without plugs that will determine if there is a problem with the plugs or wiring

sorry for the confusion yes i am down to just terrestrial channels and yes the rest show scrambled should have been more clear:)

yep not connected to internet,recheck all connections and reboot box modem and router off for 30 secs at rear then on.

switched off at the rear as you said but didnt work then on the off chance tried a s/w update! never woked before until now working perfectly now thanks for the advice and help cactikid i'm absolutely crap with technology should leave it to the kids HA HA !!!

if your box only worked after a s/w update it must have been off for months
