Will the release of Windows 8 on Oct 26[SUP]th[/SUP] lead to?

  1. An increased demand for Desktop Touch Screens
  2. Will more bundle PC’s in bricks & mortars start appearing with touch screens
  3. Will users be forced to use their trusted mouse unless they decide to purchase a touch screen themselves?

Throwing aside the fact that I think win 8 is shite, the use of a touchscreen while sitting at my desk does not appeal to me in the least. I spend a lot of the time kicked back and just using my wireless trackball resting on the arm of my chair. Leaning up over the desk just to reach the screen, not for me.

You're a real "Synergy" kinda guy Ferg, I like it lol

Now that we know you're also a Windows 8 hater LOL what are your thoughts on the questions in my OP?

*** Note to self: Remember to include Ferg on your Christmas list for a new copy of Windows 8 *** :leaving:

Knowing how microsoft tries to shove their new products down the throat of the consumers, even when the overall public reaction is a negative one, in my opinion the answer to all 3 of your questions is , Yes.
